Astrophytum ornatum, commonly known as the Bishop’s Cap Cactus or Monk’s Hood Cactus, is a striking species prized for its beautifully ribbed form, silvery-white speckling, and contrasting golden to brown spines. Its distinctive geometric appearance becomes increasingly impressive as it matures, eventually developing into a tall, columnar specimen. Mature plants may also produce beautiful yellow flowers from the crown.

Care Tips
